Adam has had the pleasure of serving the community of Biggleswade and the surrounding area as manager and optometrist for Allders opticians in Hitchin street from 1993 to 2013.
He has been carrying out domiciliary sight testing across Bedfordshire for those unable to access the high street opticians in the form of his company Homesight since 2007.As the Optometric Advisor for Bedfordshire and Luton PCTs from 2010 till the PCTs were dissolved in 2013 he provided clinical advice and guidance in relation to optometry and is currently the Optometric Advisor to NHS England South Midlands.
Adam was working for Moorfields@Bedford as part of the National Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Service but has had to give this up to concentrate on Adam Loveday Eyecare. Adam is accredited with Moorfields@Bedford for the Pre/Post operation Cataract shared care scheme. He registered with the GOC. Adam is a member of the British College of Optometrists, member of the National Optometric Advisors Association (N.O.A.A) and a member of the Association of Optometrists (AOP).
Having worked well together for over ten years Adam is very pleased to have Kerry on board as our full time dispensing optician. Her fine judgement for assisting patients with their selection of frames and lenses is invaluable and her skill with the Seiko iPad digital dispensing tool will ensure the most accurate measurements and fit.
Kerry is registered with the GOC and a member of the Association of British Dispensing Opticians (FBDO).
Outside of the optical world Kerry is a long standing member of local drama society BATS, and is a vocalist with her band Rumour Has It.
Both Sharon and Lorraine are very experienced receptionists, friendly, helpful and both are invaluable members of our team.
